Access our research and monitoring data and add your own

Our philosophy has always been to make our results freely available for the benefit of freshwater wildlife. These maps show the results of our monitoring work across the UK’s freshwater wildlife habitats.

We also collect data on freshwater species and you can submit your records for one of the surveys below.

Submit your own data

Many ecologists, freshwater conservationists and volunteer citizen scientists get involved in our monitoring work by providing us with data on clean water and freshwater species across England and Wales. We are very grateful to everyone who supports our mission to protect and restore freshwater habitats.
