Cors Bodeilio, Cors Erddreiniog & Cors Goch are designated National Nature Reserves and Sites of Special Scientific Interest within the Anglesey Fens Special Areas of Conservation (SAC).

Famed for their interesting wetland and fen habitat which supports a wide range of unique wetland plants and species, these sites host some of the more obscure and elusive Priority Pond species including Lesser Bearded Stonewort Chara curta, Dwarf Stonewort Nitella tenuissima, Medicinal Leech Hirudo medicinalis and Lesser Water-plantain Baldellia ranunculoides.
