We have 6 exciting job opportunities with our newly funded People, Ponds and Water Project and applications are now welcome for the following posts:
National Coordinator
£32,000-36,000 per annum. Full time, 3 year contract.
Starting February 2015. Based in our Oxford office.
We are seeking an experienced project coordinator with a strong ecological background and excellent organisational and people management skills to coordinate the People, Ponds and Water project and run the Clean Water for Wildlife element.
Candidates must have a good degree (2:1), MSc or doctorate in ecology and conservation, good knowledge of water chemistry and at least four years’ relevant practical experience. Valid driving licence and use of own car essential.

Project Administrator
£18,000-20,000 per annum, Full time, 3 year contract.
Starting February 2015. Based in our Oxford office.
We are seeking a project administrator to support the National Coordinator deliver the project’s biodiversity and people-based targets.
The successful candidate will have at least 3 years previous experience of administration, preferably in the charity sector, excellent administration and organisational skills, be computer literate (Word, Excel, database management, website tools) and have an interest in wildlife conservation.

Regional Project Officers
£25,000-£28,000 per annum. Full time, 3 year contract.
Starting March 2015.
Four regionally based posts: East, West and North England and Wales.
We are seeking four bright, keen people with a strong ecological background, some knowledge of freshwater wildlife and experience working with volunteers, to manage and deliver the Flagship Ponds and PondNet elements of the project.
Candidates must have a good degree (2:1 or above), MSc or doctorate in ecology / conservation, or at least four years’ relevant practical experience. Valid driving licence and use of own car essential.

In 2015 we are recruiting six new posts for a major three-year project supported by Heritage Lottery Fund. ’People, Ponds and Water’ will work with thousands of people to make a national difference to freshwater biodiversity, and has three elements:
- PondNet: a new national freshwater network to collect essential monitoring information on endangered freshwater species,
- Flagship Ponds: supporting local communities to manage the most important pond sites in England and Wales and undertake citizen science projects,
- Clean Water for Wildlife: providing people with nutrient kits to investigate pollutant levels in streams, ponds and other waterbodies: raising awareness of the importance of water quality for protecting biodiversity.
