Flagship Pond Appeal Launched

Today we’re launching our Flagship Pond Appeal so that we can take care of the country’s finest ponds

Over the last two years, Flagship Pond project staff, partners and volunteers have been working hard to study and assess 70 Flagship Pond sites and the fabulous plants and animals they support. We’ve drawn up plans of how we can help them. Now we need to raise £140,000 to get the vital habitat management work done.
The Flagship Pond project is part of People, Ponds & Water, a national project that helps people to make a significant difference to protecting our freshwater wildlife, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
