Communications and Media Manager

£30,000-£40,000 p/a depending on experience

3 year full time contract with potential for conversion to a permanent position for a suitable candidate. Based in Oxford office with substantial flexibility for working from home.

We are looking for an experienced Communications and Media Manager to promote the evidence, experience and activities of Freshwater Habitats Trust to raise awareness of our work with key audiences. The ideal candidate will have experience of placing stories in the media, as well as excellent writing skills and ability to compose engaging and accurate content. Experience of developing and implementing communications plans or strategies is desirable.

Catchment Officer – Central England

£25,000-£30,000 p/a depending on experience

1-year full time contract with likelihood of a permanent position after one year. Based at our Oxford office.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Project Officer to deliver Freshwater Habitats Trust’s practical freshwater projects and coordinate landowner and stakeholder engagement, primarily in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a range of partners in the nature conservation sector to deliver projects that make a difference to freshwater species and habitats on the ground.

Trustee/Treasurer (voluntary with travel expenses paid)

We are looking for a Treasurer (a qualified accountant) to join our board of trustees. Experience within the charity sector and an interest in conservation management would be of benefit, but not essential.

Trustees are expected to attend 4 board meetings per year (this can be remotely), plus some additional sub-committee meetings as required.  All trustees serve in a voluntary capacity. Travel expenses are re-imbursed.
